Bamburgh
Bamburgh is a small village but has much to see and do. The spectacular castle and golden sandy beaches give the village unique character. There are a number of great pubs and restaurants catering for all the family and a number of shops. Shops include Carter’s Butchers, home of the famous Bamburgh Banger, a village store with home grown fruit + veg and newspapers, and several local gift shops. The Grace Darling Museum is a popular visitor attraction and there are tennis courts and childrens play area adjacent to the castle green. Horseriding on the beach is special and can be arranged locally.

Seahouses
Seahouses c. 3 miles from Bamburgh by beach and less by road, has supermarket, shops, pubs, amusements and a harbour where boat trips to the Farne Islands can be taken.

Alnwick is a historic market town famous for its beauty with many shops and restaurants and the Alnwick ‘Harry Potter‘ Castle and castle garden.

The Holy Island of Lindisfarne
Lindisfarne is an unspoilt historic and tidal island accessed by a tarmac causeway twice in every 24 hours. The island is unique and famous for its medieval religious heritage, picturesque 16th century castle and natural history.
